MAIN, Maastricht's AI & Tech Network, is a student-run community at Maastricht University built for anyone curious about artificial intelligence and technology. We're the place where students from every faculty come together to actually do something with AI: Business, Law, Psychology, Science, you name it.
What We Do
We run three kinds of events, each built to connect you with the industry in a different way: through conversation, through practice, and through building something real.
Panel Talks
We invite founders, researchers, professors and industry leaders to discuss the trends and challenges shaping AI today. Each panel brings together different perspectives and every session closes with an open Q&A, so the conversation goes both ways.
Workshops
Our partners teach you the tools and workflows they use every single day. Forget theory. You leave with skills you can put to work immediately, whether that's in your studies, your projects, or your future career.
Hackathons
Companies bring real business challenges, and you build the solution under time pressure. It's fast, it's hands-on, and every so often, what you build gets used for more than just the competition.
